a pattern of how i eventually get lingering annoyances purged: step 1: ask myself “am i entitled to x?” — where x is the thing i feel has failed or eluded me, which can take anywhere from seconds to days to identify — to which the answer is almost always no, logically or legally or morally or however; step 2: there’s no step 2, Q.E.D.
